In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job. At TI, Systems Marketing Engineers focus deeply on understanding the technical needs of our customer, and future trends of an industry or end equipment, then create systems level solutions. Systems Marketing Engineers drive technical collaboration with customer, product lines, and TI sales force to drive innovative whole system solutions across key end equipments.
In this system marketing engineer role, you’ll have the chance to:
- Work with customers to provide innovative solutions to their most challenging problems
- Utilizing TI’s broad portfolio to combine TI parts to create whole system level solutions to accelerate customer product life cycle
- Combine Hardware and software capabilities to further integrate complete TI solutions
- Reference design Development including: block diagram, schematic capture, PCB layout, fabrication and assembly, testing.
- Interface directly with TI business units and customers to influence product roadmaps
- Gather user requirements, translate them to functional specifications, and implement solutions and enhancements to broader end equipments.
- Provide complete documentation for system level solution
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging on issues related to the system working directly with customers

Minimum requirements:
- Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
- Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA
- Must have understanding of and experience with system design, including writing IC design specifications, developing algorithms and creating system reference models
- Knowledge in structured and/or object oriented programming (C, C++) and signal processing tools (Matlab)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to present solutions to key stakeholders and customers.
