R&D Electrical Hardware Engineer

Description -

We are seeking an experienced EE Lead with deep technical expertise in printed circuit board assembly (PCA) design and system-level electrical quality. This role serves as an EE technical lead supporting NPI programs, driving design excellence, ensuring product robustness, and leading cross-functional engineering efforts. The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to provide perspective to cross-organization projects, drive innovation and integrate new technologies into projects. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on engineering capability with effective technical leadership and clear communication.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary EE technical lead for PCA design and system-level integration in support of NPI program.

  • Lead design reviews, technical risk assessments, and key engineering decisions throughout the lifecycle

  • Drive end-to-end PCA design, including schematic, layout review, and validation

  • Define and enforce EE best practices, design guidelines, and quality standards

  • Ensure SI/PI, EMC/EMI, and thermal considerations are properly addressed in designs

  • Own system-level quality and reliability, including DfX, failure analysis, and corrective actions

  • Identify trends and opportunities for optimizing product product/solution output, quality enhancements and cost of delivery.

  • Support program execution by managing technical risks, resolving issues, and balancing cost, schedule, and manufacturability

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ME, FW, Operations, suppliers) for seamless integration

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering at minimum 2 NPI products from concept to production

  • Strong clear, concise communication on both written and verbal, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence cross-functional and global asset teams

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Project Lead or equivalent technical leadership role

  • Minimum 3-5 years of EE PCA design experience
