**Role: Software Dev Eng, Payload Phased Arrays, Amazon Leo** Drive antenna system validation for Amazon's LEO satellite network. Collaborate cross-functionally to bring up and test complex systems combining FPGA, firmware, RF, and networking. Key responsibilities include subsystem characterization, complex data storage, hardware test automation, firmware design, and application development. Build advanced tools and scripts for phased array systems. 2+ years' experience in software development required. Hands-on with Linux, Python, C/C++, and hardware description languages. Experience with AWR (e.g., AFE, Microwave Office) or other RF simulation tools a plus. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required due to export controls.

As a Software Engineer for antenna calibration, you will collaborate with systems architects, hardware engineering design teams & FW/SW design teams to bring up and test systems combining FPGA, firmware, RF, and networking functions and build advanced tools for the following:

Characterizing subsystems and systems related to antennas
Complex data storage
Hardware test automation
Firmware design and implementation
Application development
Develop bring up tools and scripts for phased array systems

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
