You’ll join an international team in Data & Analytics that partners closely with the business domains to accelerate data adoption and apply analytics and data science to improve the products and services we deliver to our clients. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to modernising our platform landscape, with a strong focus on evolving and improving our Databricks cloud platform.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office). 

You will:

• Own and continuously improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of the data platform across environments
• Design, build, and evolve core platform capabilities, tools, and engineering practices for the Databricks platform
• Drive the research, development, and production rollout of new platform features and services
• Define and enforce robust access control, security, and data governance standards
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues across test, system, and production environments
• Automate platform operations, deployment, monitoring, and remediation to enable reliable self-service and fast feedback loops 

About you:

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or solution architecture role
• Strong expertise with Databricks, including platform administration and governance  
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, AWS would be beneficial
• Solid understanding of Spark and distributed data processing  
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with infrastructure and platform automation (e.g. Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, scripting)
• Experience operating platforms in production, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
• Understanding of security, access control, and data governance in large-scale platforms
• A strong team player with a high sense of ownership, accountability, and drive to take initiatives from idea to production

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 5760 EUR to 8640 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
