**Data Engineer - Data Product Solutions** in Vilnius, Lithuania. Design, build, and optimize data solutions. Are you a data enthusiast ready to grow in data engineering while building solutions that improve business outcomes? Join us to work with modern data technologies, learn from experienced colleagues, and help shape Danske Bank’s journey towards a decentralised data product approach.

The Data Product Solutions squad is part of the Data Platform Tribe, supporting data professionals across Danske Bank with reliable, scalable data products.

You will join us early in this journey and help design, build, and improve data solutions in close collaboration with skilled engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will work with technologies such as Databricks, SQL, PySpark, and Databricks LakeFlow Declarative Pipelines, while developing your skills in data modelling, pipeline development, and data quality.

We work in a hybrid setup and currently meet in the office at least three days a week.

You will:

  • Build and improve scalable data products and pipelines using modern data engineering practices
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to turn data needs into practical solutions
  • Support data modelling, pipeline orchestration, and performance optimisation
  • Apply engineering standards, documentation, data governance, and testing practices to help ensure reliable solutions

About you:

  • 2+ years of practical experience in data engineering, data solutions, or a similar area
  • Experience with SQL and Python or PySpark for data manipulation and pipeline development
  • Interest in modern cloud and data platforms such as Databricks, AWS, or Azure
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, or unit testing would be an advantage
  • Basic understanding of data modelling, orchestration, and data quality principles
  • Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn through collaboration and feedback
  • Strong English skills

Monthly salary range from 3040 EUR to 4560 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
