**Software Engineer, User Operations | Remote | Full-Time** Own and develop product quality infrastructure and tooling. Automate customer and product feedback handling at scale. Key responsibilities include building intelligent bug reporting pipelines and capturing customer feedback systems. Leverage AI to create a first-of-its-kind Voice of the Customer platform. Experience with Python, machine learning, and data processing tools preferred. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience. Problem-solving mindset and UI/UX understanding essential. Collaborate with a flat, talent-dense team in a truth-seeking, creative environment.

Department: User Ops

Team: User Ops

Location: Remote

Employment Type: FullTime

Our mission is to automate coding. The first step in our journey is to build the best tool for professional programmers, using a combination of inventive research, design, and engineering. Our organization is very flat, and our team is small and talent dense. We particularly like people who are truth-seeking, passionate, and creative. We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code.

About the Role

We're hiring a Software Engineer for our User Operations team to own and build our product quality infrastructure and tooling — the systems that capture, triage, route, and acts on customer and product feedback at scale. You'll work on everything from intelligent bug reporting pipelines to software that captures customer feedback at scale to systems that give our business real-time visibility into our strongest Voice of the Customer signals.

This is an internal-facing role with direct impact on product quality. You'll be building the systems that close the loop between what customers experience and what gets built — helping us catch problems before our users do, and ensuring the right signal reaches the right people, fast. If building an AI-native, first-of-its-kind Voice of the Customer program from the ground up excites you, this role is for you.

What you'll do

  • Develop AI-powered systems that synthesize customer signal at scale — separating noise from what matters, routing feedback to the right teams, and surfacing the voice of the customer in ways that actually shape product decisions.

  • Build dashboards and data pipelines that give engineering and product leaders real-time visibility into bug volume, quality trends, and where their domains stand — by product area, severity, and over time.

  • Build intelligent bug intake and triage systems — moving from manual, inconsistent prioritization to agentic pipelines that produce well-written, well-prioritized bug reports at scale.

  • Build integrations across our tooling ecosystem (ticketing systems, payment processes, CRM, data warehouse, etc.) to create seamless workflows.

  • Partner with domain specialists and support engineers to identify pain points and ship solutions quickly — you're building for an internal team that will tell you exactly what's broken.

You may be a fit if

  • Experience working cross-functionally to deliver highly impactful, technical projects and systems

  • Experience building internal tools, developer platforms, or operations infrastructure.

  • Strong full-stack engineering skills — you're comfortable owning projects from database to UI.

  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics tooling.

  • Deep product knowledge of Cursor and AI-assisted development workflows.

  • Experience integrating with third-party platforms (ticketing systems, payment processors, CRMs).

  • Strong sense of ownership and a bias for action — you ship fast and iterate based on feedback.

  • Self-starter with curiosity, creativity, and a distaste for manual toil.
