Job Role Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • Support or lead analyzer system design, commissioning, troubleshooting, optimization, and lifecycle management.
  • Apply analyzer technologies, measurement principles, engineering calculations, and process knowledge to improve performance.
  • Support laboratory and online analyzer quality assurance programs, method assessments, statistical quality control, and performance evaluations.
  • Improve analyzer accuracy, reliability, maintainability, and compliance with corporate quality requirements.
  • Develop or support analyzer specifications, cost estimates, fit-for-purpose designs, criticality assessments, and quality plans.
  • Support regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, Management of Change, and CEMS requirements.
  • Review vendor deliverables, support project execution, and provide technical guidance during installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, laboratory, project teams, vendors, and technical networks.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to analyzer training, competency development, and continuous improvement.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Systems, Chemistry, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Effective team player with strong ownership and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to communicate in English for work discussions, documentation, and technical coordination. 

Advanced-Level Candidates

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in process analyzers within petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas, chemical manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of analyzer technologies such as GC, FTIR, TDL, moisture, oxygen, H₂S, sulfur, TOC, pH, conductivity analyzers, and CEMS.
  • Strong competency in analyzer systems, including sample conditioning systems, fast-loop design, sample transport calculations, analyzer shelter design, and hazardous area requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex analyzer issues, lead technical reviews, and drive reliability or quality improvements.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with analyzer equipment from vendors such as Siemens, Yokogawa, ABB, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, country-specific regulations, and local codes.
  • Understanding of product quality measurement and quality assurance system design.
  • Experience with analyzer project execution, commissioning, start-up, maintenance, calibration, validation, or lifecycle management.
  • Experience with CEMS, environmental compliance, cybersecurity, or industrial control system environments.
