KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, HR Business Advisor to join our Talent and Culture organization.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic HR business advisor to the (Southwest or Northern Pacific) Business Unit partnering with the leaders and HR centers of excellence to deliver strategic, high-quality, innovative and efficient HR support
- Coordinate the functional planning and execution of annual HR processes including goal setting, performance assessment, promotion decisions, compensation planning and talent management
- Leverage data analytics to provide insights to leaders to identify, diagnose and respond to trends in their business; based on analyses, develop strategic recommendations for talent solutions such as action items because of periodic employee engagement surveys or exit surveys
- Collaborate with the People Relations Group to address employee concerns and performance management issues
- Stay informed and current on policies and procedures and any related changes
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent, broad Human Resource experience; emphasis on HR strategy, process transformation, change management and people management in a professional services environment preferred
- Master's or PHR/SPHR certification degree from an accredited college or university in an HR-related field preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in human resource management, organizational development, or business administration is required, or ten years of equivalent HR work experience
- Knowledge of Peoplesoft; highly proficient in Microsoft office applications: Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
- Be high results orientated with a demonstrated ability to oversee practical, solution-driven initiatives and human resource processes that are perceived as quickly adding value to the business
- Strong client orientation and the ability to build relationships and credibility within a professional service environment and demonstrated business acumen
- Ability to develop clear and concise written communication; excellent people leadership, facilitation, and coaching skills
