Borsa Italiana seeks an **Accounts Receivable Intern** in Milan, starting ASAP. Duties include processing customer invoices, reconciling payments, managing debtor portfolios, and data entry. You'll minimize DSO, provide monthly statements, and support audits. Requirements: Pursuing degree in Finance/Business/Economics, Order-to-Cash understanding, advanced Excel skills, fluent English, and French proficiency a plus.

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Intern to join the Finance Operations team. The position will be based in Milan, and start as soon as possible.

Gross reimbursement: 800 euro

Ticket restaurant

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Ensuring customer invoices are processed accurately and on time
  • Reconciling bank statements and other payment methods
  • Allocating daily payments and settling invoices
  • Identifying and highlighting credit notes and write-off concerns
  • Monitoring and collecting overdue debtors to minimise Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
  • Creating and maintaining customer master data
  • Escalating issues promptly and managing disputes
  • Engaging with internal departments to resolve customer queries
  • Preparing monthly statements for customers
  • Supporting management and the team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Providing reporting and analysing data to identify trends
  • Assisting in internal and external financial audits, ensuring compliance with controls and policies
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Your profile:

  • Currently studying towards a degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
  • Understanding of the Order-to-Cash process
  • Advanced skills in Excel; knowledge of French is a plus
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly analytical with the ability to identify risks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and flexible
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Assertive, persistent and target-oriented
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
