Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for an ICFR (Internal Control on Financial Reporting) Intern to join the Finance team. The position will be based in Milan, Piazza degli Affari 6, and start in November 2026.

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Supporting the optimisation of the corporate information system and improving finance processes and procedures
  • Assisting in mapping processes, procedures and documentation related to the internal control framework
  • Contributing to testing and monitoring the design and operating effectiveness of finance controls
  • Supporting the annual finance risk assessment exercise in collaboration with the group risk team
  • Participating in internal and external audit processes by coordinating sample requests and tracking audit findings

Your profile:

  • Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management or a related field with a focus on control, risk management or compliance (or currently studying towards one)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); familiarity with Power BI is a plus
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Proactive and logical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in a matrix organisation
  • Capability to develop partnerships and challenge third parties to find best-fit solutions
