Become part of Business Controls and Product Management (BCPM)
You will join a global team supporting strategic objectives across Large Corporates & Institutions and Business Customers. In this role, you will help ensure that our solutions are well-designed and operating effectively, while contributing to a strong risk culture and compliance with regulations, internal risk frameworks and credit policies.
As part of the team, you will work on improving processes, implementing tooling enhancements and driving efficiency in our credit control work, with a particular focus on standardizing and automating control testing across the team based in Poland.
What you will be doing
You will monitor and manage credit risks related to credit activities with the aim of streamlining our processes. Your role involves developing and implementing credit control procedures and reporting tools to ensure compliance with internal procedures and credit policies. In addition, you will play an active part in advancing a data-driven control process and contributing to automation initiatives.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Executing control testing of credit cases and the credit process in line with the planned annual work programme
- Collecting data for relevant reports and dashboards
- Identifying both specific and structural issues, and supporting the work to find solutions that strengthen our credit risk culture
- Contributing to the standardisation and further automation of the control testing process
- Supporting the development and maintenance of governance frameworks and standardised processes for control testing
- Collaborating with both first- and second-line stakeholders across Nordic countries
About you
We are looking for a candidate with deeper and broader experience in the credit space, with a proven ability to lead process development and governance work. We expect you to have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the credit space within a bank, with comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end credit process for business customers
- Solid experience in financial risk management, including non-financial risk and/or regulatory risk and/or credit risk
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining standardised processes and governance frameworks within a banking or financial services environment
- The ability to act as a subject matter expert and support the broader team in developing the control testing framework
- A relevant educational background or a degree in finance, such as a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
