- Perform fundamental analysis and financial modelling across covered namesMonitor performance and holdings relative to investment objectives, benchmarks and outlookProvide opinions/reports on relative value analysis including buy/sell recommendations to the investment team and to the global credit research teamProvide ESG ratings for credits under coverageCollaborate with other debt and equity analysts and portfolio managers as the credit expert on the covered industriesFrequently interact with portfolio managers and tradersBasic Qualifications
- Undergraduate degreeProven ability to form and communicate differentiated investment viewsPersonable and team orientedFamiliarity with market and research tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, PowerPoint, Capital IQStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications
- CFA or CPAAt least 3-5 years of research experience at a buy side or sell side institutionExperience analyzing HY/IG non-bank financialsExposure to technical or programming skillsExperience with Aladdin and other industry-standard platformsEstablished network across sell side, buy side, or issuer communitiesDemonstrated willingness to take on new sector coverage as neededCompensationSchroders offers a base salary in a range of $120,000 to $150,000 for this position.The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. This is to sustain our culture of innovation, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and building relationships within the business.The TeamSchroders manages over GBP75bn in global fixed income alpha strategies, with credit at the core of our approach. In addition, Schroders oversee around GBP200bn in solutions mandates, approximately half of which are allocated to fixed income and credit. Our Global Credit Research platform, which plays a key role in within the fixed income platform, is centralized in three key hubs—New York, London, and Singapore.Position OverviewWe are looking for a Credit Research Analyst to join our Global Fixed Income Research team in New York. The successful candidate will contribute differentiated credit insights focused on US non-bank Financials.
