**DUV Field Service Engineer Kumamoto**: Monitor & troubleshoot semiconductor equipment. Collect & analyze data, resolve & escalate issues. Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs. Guide customers on usage & care. Collaborate with teams to ensure safety & quality. Requires familiarity with controlled technologies; export compliance adherence expected. Ideal candidate has 3+ years' relevant experience, proficient in DUV systems, and possesses strong analytical & communication skills. Experience with ASML equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities: Monitor equipment performance, collect and analyze diagnostic data, and troubleshoot system issues. Escalate complex problems to the appropriate support level and provide clear technical handovers and documentation. Replace parts, optimize settings, perform repairs, and confirm safe and stable equipment recovery. Prepare and execute installation, qualification, maintenance, and recovery activities in accordance with approved procedures. Ensure that required parts, tools, documents, permits, and technical information are available before work begins. Provide customers with guidance on system operation, malfunction recovery, and routine equipment care. Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and technical support functions to ensure safety, quality, performance, and schedule adherence. Share technical knowledge, document lessons learned and recurring issues, and support coaching and local capability development. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
