**Entry Level Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist**: Perform scheduled maintenance on complex tool sets in wafer fab clean rooms. Responsibilities include executing maintenance using approved methods, tracking parts and data, and qualifying equipment. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams. Requires high school diploma/GED, mechanical aptitude, and ability to read technical instructions.

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist in one of our wafer fab clean rooms, you will:
  • Execute scheduled maintenance work adhering to the approved best known method for all tasks completed
  • Track and assemble of parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time
  • Complete qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production
  • Track critical data from performed maintenance to define improvement opportunities for optimal PM performance
  • Have an on-the-job training plan that provides a clear path to required certifications and advancement
We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in and capability of performing mechanical and maintenance activities on complex tool sets, able to effectively collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, and ability to read and understand technical instructions and mechanical drawings.
Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position

Minimum requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule
  • Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Current pursuing a 2-year Associates program in electronics related degree program with at least 30 hours completed
