**Fixed Assets Accountant: Drive Asset Management in Complex Manufacturing**
Leverage your financial background (Finance, Accounting degree) to excel as our **Fixed Assets Accountant**. Manage capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of machinery and technical assets within our large, complex manufacturing environment. Uphold internal policies, local standards, and ensure accurate asset valuation. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and controlling to reflect capital investments. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Contribute to process improvement projects within our accounting environment. Experience with **IFRS/GAAP** and **ERP systems** (ideally SAP) is preferred.

Role and responsibilities: be responsible for and further develop fixed asset accounting in a complex manufacturing environment in compliance with internal group policies and local statutory requirements manage the capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of machinery and technical assets ensure accurate valuation of assets and compliance with relevant accounting standards support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to fixed asset accounting contribute to process and improvement projects within the accounting environment work closely with production, engineering, and controlling to properly reflect capital investments analyze asset data and create financial transparency regarding the machinery fleet support audits and provide relevant documentation and explanations Your qualifications: You have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable commercial qualification You bring several years of professional experience in fixed asset accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment You have very good knowledge of HGB, IFRS, and US GAAP related to fixed asset accounting You have experience working with large technical asset structures such as buildings, machinery, or production equipment You are confident in using SAP and common finance tools You are fluent in both written and spoken German and English
