**Global Banking Credit Analyst - Consumer & Retail: ECM** Leverage financial analysis expertise as a Credit Analyst, collaborating on Structured Collateralized Lending transactions. Key responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Credit Officer in underwriting, decision-making processes, and risk analysis. -Independently assess credit risks, engage with the front office, and ensure transactions align with UBS's risk appetite. - Manage extensive Due Diligence, identifying key business drivers, risks, and information gaps. - Perform comprehensive financial analysis (financial, commercial, legal, tax, environmental & structuring) for potential transactions and corporate borrowers. - Develop financial models (Base and Downside cases), reflecting key drivers and due diligence findings. - Contribute to written credit memos for CRC Senior Management and assign risk ratings/loss given default designation. - Prepare reporting deliverables to monitor and track limits. Required skills and experience: - Proven experience in credit analysis, ideally within Collateralized Lending or similar fields. - Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel (pivotal tables, data validation, scenarios). - Sound knowledge of credit risk, internal models, and regulatory capital requirements. - Experience working with various structuring types (re-pack, theft, synthetic, and other ABS transactions).
