Are you analytical and an aspiring banking professional with the drive to be part of the 1st Line Credit unit in Danske Bank?

1st Line Credit manages the credit risk within Danske Bank’s large corporates, financial institutions, and public credit portfolio and ensures that we comply with the bank’s overall risk appetite.

Given our broad industry coverage, we participate in a significant number of industrial scale transactions, large M&As and other complex projects.

In order to succeed in the role, you need to be able to comprehend and condense complex information, steering through situations where the involved parties can have differing priorities and opinions, while keeping a focus on improving the business.

In Large Corporates & Institutions, we are the tip of the spear – driving the bank’s success where it matters most. By joining us, you’ll be part of the most ambitious team in Danske Bank.

You will:

  • Perform annual periodic reviews of credit exposures within a designated credit portfolio, which entails analysing banks’ and other financial institutions’ financial statements, their individual counterparty risk and the broader macro- and geopolitical view on the countries where our counterparties reside or operate
  • Fulfil requests from Trade Finance which entails analysis of our correspondent banks, and filling of our internal systems with appropriate data
  • In close collaboration with the Senior Bankers and product units develop forward looking customer strategies and risk appetite

About you:

  • Relevant undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, economics or business management
  • Analytical mindset
  • Experience in analysing and assessing corporate or institutional credit risk would be an advantage
  • A strong communicator with advanced written and verbal English skills
  • You thrive by working independently while at the same time ensuring strong cooperation with the rest of the 1st Line Credit team, our Senior Bankers, Client Managers and colleagues in Group Risk Management
  • Highly responsible and able to  act with integrity

Monthly salary range from 1680 EUR to 2520 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
