**Legal Counsel Role in Corporate Finance (80-100%)** - We seek a structured loan transactions enthusiast with credit analysis skills. Duties include: underwriting, risk assessments, due diligence, financial analysis (covering finance, law, and tax aspects), creating financial models, drafting credit memos, and risk ratings. Must have senior-level experience, strong analytical skills, and an autonomous work style. Experience with UBS's underwriting risk appetite is preferred.

We are looking for someone like this to: - Be a Credit Analyst for Structured Collateralized Lending transactions: be involved alongside the Credit Officer in the underwriting, recommendations and the decision-making processes - Independently analyze credit risks and engage with the front office to ensure transactions are consistent with UBS's underwriting risk appetite - Show the ability to work autonomously through the extensive Due Diligence process, identifying key business drivers, specific risk issues, actively challenging during due diligence calls, and highlighting any information gaps to the business teams - Perform fundamental financial analysis for prospective collateralized transactions and corporate borrower's (covering financial, commercial, legal, tax, environmental & structuring) - Demonstrate full understanding of financial modelling, working on the production of Base and Downside cases ensuring that they reflect all key drivers and the due diligence findings - Contribute actively to a written credit memo for CRC Senior Management - Assign risk ratings and loss given default designation, prepare reporting deliverables to track limit utilization | Show more Credit Analyst - Structured Lending |
