As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production. Our Maintenance team brings together experts with different areas of specialization in mechanical and electrical engineering. Role and responsibilities: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will: Analyze equipment failures and production disruptions and identify sustainable technical solutions Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities with internal stakeholders and external service providers Review and accept completed maintenance work to ensure equipment functionality and quality standards Serve as the technical point of contact for a defined portfolio of production equipment Manage technical sourcing activities for spare parts and external maintenance services Develop and optimize preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with equipment suppliers and manufacturing teams Drive equipment and process improvement initiatives to increase machine availability, reliability, and performance Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field Alternatively, completion of an advanced technical qualification in Electrical Engineering Several years of professional experience in maintenance engineering within a high-tech manufacturing environment Knowledge of complex production equipment, maintenance methodologies, and equipment reliability practices Experience working with external suppliers and service providers in a technical environment Professional English communication skills Skills: Working in a highly technical manufacturing environment requires a structured and solution-oriented approach.
