KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Washington National Tax - Indirect Tax to join our Washington National Tax (WNT) practice.
- Work closely with other offices of KPMG LLP to provide advice to their clients on indirect taxes
- Collaborate with other practice groups in Washington National Tax (WNT) and work with KPMG International member firms
- Review and/or draft tax memoranda and tax opinions
- Instruct internal firm courses related to indirect taxation
- Participate in external client facing events specific to indirect taxes
- Draft and review articles and other risk management activities
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum five years of recent experience performing tax research, representing clients and providing technical advice on multi-state tax issues
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, MST (master's in taxation) or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (CMI) designation for non-CPA eligible candidates, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
