As a Mechanical Engineer in Wilton, you will specify, design, develop, realize, integrate, and test modules and tools in close collaboration with cross-functional partners and suppliers. You will deliver solutions within system specifications, cost targets, and project schedules while helping ensure ASML products are competitive, achievable, serviceable, and reliable. Role and Responsibilities: In this role, you will contribute to mechanical engineering deliverables that scale with job grade, from executing defined engineering tasks and supporting senior engineers to owning complex technical scope, coordinating cross-functional work, and leading program-level outcomes. Identify, analyze, document, and manage requirements with traceability, including verification criteria to confirm deliverables meet design intent. Conduct research, feasibility studies, and technical tradeoff analysis to support engineering recommendations and decision-making. Develop mechanical engineering concepts and solutions that meet functionality, performance, cost, compliance, and schedule requirements. Define and communicate specifications, high-level designs, interfaces, and technical documentation to support reviews, approvals, and downstream execution. Support system and product integration by coordinating dependencies, applying configuration management, and enabling smooth project execution. Define and execute validation and test approaches, improve methods and procedures, and ensure qualification evidence supports release readiness. Estimate effort, plan and track work, manage risks and dependencies, and deliver assigned work packages or projects to agreed quality and timelines. Share knowledge through coaching, mentoring, and collaboration as applicable to the job grade and scope of responsibility. Follow EHS policies and proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate safety risks. Education and Experience: Minimum education and experience expectations vary by job grade. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is required. A master’s degree or PhD is preferred depending on role scope, technical depth, and business need. JG07: BS degree in a technical field and 2+ years of solid experience; MS preferred. JG08: BS degree in a technical field and 5+ years of thorough experience; MS or PhD preferred. JG09: BS degree in a technical field and 8+ years of substantial experience; MS or PhD preferred.
