All development-related work regarding investments in Danske Bank is owned in the Retail Investment Tribe with around 180 members. All work in the Tribe is organized into squads – cross-functional teams of about ten people from business and IT working on a specific mission.

We are delighted to present an opportunity within our "Investment Advisory and Insights" squad, an agile international team of IT professionals. We thrive in a casual work environment that cherishes a flat hierarchy and encourages open discussions. Currently we are on the lookout for a skilled engineer who embodies the rare blend of highly experienced developer and insightful mentor for our junior team members.

Our focus is on developing advanced investment functionalities that empower our investment advisers through the market-leading investment advisory solution, Aladdin Wealth, and provide direct value to our customers via our Mobile Bank. These functionalities include portfolio diversification analysis, insights into the sustainability of investments, and tax calculations.

At our squad, developers are encouraged to broaden their skills and lead various initiatives, ensuring continuous professional growth and innovation. Join us in improving digital investment advice, where your expertise will directly contribute to advancing our technology and empowering our clients.

You will be working closely with experienced Developers, Product Owner, BA specialists, DevOps and Test Automation specialist to build and maintain solid future-proof Investment solutions in Wealth Planning & Investments Tribe.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office). 

You will:

  • Work within your engaged squad day-to-day, developing new investment services and features
  • Be expected to participate in your .NET Chapter (a technical guild of sorts), to keep up to date with the latest tooling, frameworks, and methodologies within the .NET landscape
  • Participate in all phases of application development – from designing & building to deploying, running, and maintaining
  • Act with system ownership in mind and take responsibility for ensuring high quality in all solutions – both directly through your work and indirectly through guiding your team members
  • Challenge the way we do things

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in developing applications using .NET
  • Experience with MS SQL or similar relational database
  • Experience writing clean and testable code
  • Knowledge about software design patterns
  • Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, CI/CD, AWS, OpenShift would be beneficial
  • Experience working agile in close collaboration with business and designers
  • Upped-Intermediate English skills, both written and spoken

Monthly salary range from 2720 EUR to 4080 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
