Morgan McKinley is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Waterford.

Our Recruitment Consultants are experts in their disciplines. In Waterford, we work within the Finance, Business Support and Sales. We want our consultants to be the go to people in the market.

Recruitment is a dynamic, fast-paced, and rewarding career where you will take ownership of the entire recruitment process, matching talented candidates with a wide range of opportunities while building strong, long-lasting relationships with both clients and candidates.
In this role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive sales and business development activities, gaining a thorough understanding of client hiring requirements and delivering tailored recruitment solutions. You will also attract and engage high-quality candidates using a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media platforms, networking, and employee referrals.

Your role as a Recruitment Consultant

• Achieving monthly and quarterly fee targets
• Sourcing candidates through advertising, search and networking
• Interviewing, selection and assessment of candidates
• Business development activity targeting new and existing clients
• Developing and maintaining an expert knowledge of the specialist sector and market 
• Preparing candidates and clients for interview
• Ensuring that all clients and candidates receive the highest possible level of service
• Completing all candidate and client information on database system
• Ensuring all information is kept up to date

What we are looking for

• 1+ years previous recruitment experience or other relevant industry experience 
• Strong organisational skills: the role will require the individual to 'multi-task'
• Outstanding communication and influencing/interpersonal skills
• Professional/self-motivated demeanour and attitude, a team player
• Entrepreneurial spirit and confident attitude - thrives on working under pressure and to tight deadlines
