**Senior Associate – Catalog Specialist in Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS)** Drive operational excellence as our **Senior Associate – Catalog, RBS**. Minimal supervision required, with experience applying standard procedures and making sound decisions. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end processes using relevant tools, meeting SLAs, maintaining records, proposing permanent fixes, and supporting process improvements. Analyze KPIs, prepare reports, and collaborate with leadership. Enhance team skills through workshops and mentor junior Associates. Weekend and holiday work required, with scheduling flexibility. Proficiency in process improvement and problem-solving methods, along with excellent communication skills, is essential. Prior experience in a similar role within a financial institution is preferred.
Key job responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Senior Associate include, but are not limited to:
• Handle end-to-end processes and related tools in order to achieve business goals.
• Handle the day-to-day volumes of the assigned tasks and ensure the given SLA are met per quality standards
• Open to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, with scheduling flexibility supported through advance notice and accommodations where possible
• Maintain records of day-to-day work by updating trackers to reflect work done
• Support and implement improvement ideas in order to increase process efficiency.
• Monitor individual KPIs (productivity, quality, utilization, etc.), create reports, raise the flag, and dive deep on deviations.
• Share knowledge and best practices with the team through email, shadowing sessions, and workshops.
• Train and mentor other Associates to ensure a fast ramp-up.
• Flag any process updates received from stakeholders to the Manager.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to structure emails and updates backed by data.
Preferred Qualifications
- • Relevant experience in catalog, data, or operations processes, with the ability to operate independently with minimal direction.- • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (sorting, deduplication, formulas, PivotTables, filters, conditional formatting, charts).
- • Working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and the 7 QC quality tools.
