What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage customers' fiat currency deposits and withdrawals on the exchange platform, be responsible for overseeing and executing the transfer of fiat currency into and out of the exchange
- Reconcile daily fiat balances between the exchange system and bank accounts
- Resolve customer inquiries related to payment processing
- Analyse and highlight exceptional items related to settlements and collaborate with cross functional teams and banking partners to resolve the issues in a timely manner
- Support future development efforts by testing new product offerings
- Provide performance reports and analysis with metrics for assessing performance and improvements
- Support the accounting team with reconciliations and other payment-related activities
- Review settlement operations and suggest areas of improvements and automations
- Support on ad-hoc requests from the operation team or cross functional teams
What We Look For In You
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in fiat operations, preferably in cryptocurrency, banking, payment services, or fintech industries
- Proficient in financial reconciliation and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong prioritization skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken
