General Summary:

The Infra-Sensors team is responsible for delivering high-performance sensor subsystem IP and technologies that form an essential part of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. As a member of the team, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and verification of advanced sensor subsystem components for next-generation mobile and computing platforms. You will collaborate closely with architecture, software, verification, and SoC teams across multiple Qualcomm locations.

This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor technology while developing expertise in subsystem design, low-power methodologies, and industry-standard AMBA protocols.

Skills and Experience We Would Love to See

  • Experience in ASIC design and RTL development using Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL.

  • Understanding of digital design fundamentals and computer architecture concepts.

  • Familiarity with AMBA protocols such as AHB, AXI, and APB.

  • Understanding of low-power design concepts and UPF methodologies.

  • Experience using Lint and CDC analysis tools.

  • Familiarity with simulation and debug tools such as Verdi or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a global, cross-functional team environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly and contribute in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of ASIC and subsystem components.

  • Develop RTL designs and support verification activities.

  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.

  • Debug and resolve design issues throughout the development cycle.

  • Collaborate with architecture, verification, software, and SoC integration teams.

  • Support implementation of low-power design methodologies.

  • Document design decisions and contribute to technical deliverables.

  • Continuously develop technical expertise in sensor subsystem technologies and semiconductor design methodologies.
