Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

Support end-to-end operational delivery across all Global Procurement (GP) sourcing events, focusing on system execution, governance compliance, and timely coordination of related operational activities. The role supports Sourcing Managers by ensuring efficient preparation, execution, and closure of sourcing events, aligned with procurement policies, controls and a global operating model.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and execution of sourcing events, including request for proposal (RFP) setup, supplier invitations, and documentation readiness
  • Coordinate sourcing activities and timelines, ensuring all tasks, approvals, and milestones are completed on time and in the correct sequence
  • Manage sourcing tools and platforms, ensuring accurate event configuration, supplier onboarding, and data integrity
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for sourcing events, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Track progress of sourcing events and proactively follow up with stakeholders and vendors to avoid delays
  • Collaborate with Sourcing Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, processes, and deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, leveraging AI / automation to streamline sourcing operations and enhance data quality
  • Handle multiple sourcing events simultaneously, ensuring strong organization and prioritization across competing deadlines

Skills

  • 0–2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or operational support roles (internships or graduate experience considered)
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in parallel
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation, data management, and compliance controls
  • Proactive mindset with ability to follow up and drive tasks to completion in a structured manner
  • Comfortable working with procurement systems, digital tools, and technology platforms; experience in AI-driven optimization and automation is a strong advantage
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and support decision-making processes
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
