**Tax Analyst** Support Senior Tax Manager in managing US federal and state corporate income tax returns, and execute IFRS/US GAAP tax provisioning. Role Overview

We are looking for a Tax Accountant role to support the Senior Tax Manager (Compliance & Reporting) with management of US federal and state corporate income tax returns.

Role Responsibilities

  • Preparation of US federal and state corporate income tax returns.

  • Preparation of IFRS tax provisioning for the US group for quarterly and year-end reporting, and for US GAAP reporting for regulated entities.    

  • Calculation of the US federal and state tax payment positions, including extensions and quarterly estimate tax payments.

  • Maintain the US tax calendar.

  • Liaise with the US / UK legal team on tax issues that arise related to the Group organization chart.

  • Maintain tracker file for tax notices received and assist in the preparation of responses.

  • Provide support for tax form requests (eg W-9) for US businesses, and assist the UK tax team with FATCA / CRA inquires.  

Experience / Competences

Essentia

  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced work environment

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Working knowledge of Thomson Reuters tax products [specifically OneSource Income Tax and OneSource Tax Provision

Desired

  • Financial services experience.
