**Team Lead Manufacturing / Teamleiter:in Fertigung - Berlin-based role driving small-batch, high-tech optical component production. Lead a manufacturing team (7+) in daily production, personnel management, and quality assurance. Key skills: experience in team leadership, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing). Introduction to the job: At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical comAponents, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production. Role and responsibilities: As a Team Lead Manufacturing, you will: lead, coach, and develop a team of manufacturing employees with disciplinary and functional responsibility. plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities and personnel deployment within the team. act as the first point of contact for employees regarding manufacturing-related issues and operational challenges. ensure compliance with work instructions, quality requirements, and production standards. drive workforce development by implementing onboarding plans, training initiatives, and cross-qualification activities. collaborate closely with engineering, process engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to support stable production operations. contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and actively support optimization of manufacturing processes and workplace organization. Education and experience: Completed vocational training in chemistry, chemical engineering technology, laboratory technology, manufacturing technology, precision mechanics, optics, or a comparable technical field Several years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a chemical or technically demanding production setting Proven experience leading and developing employees in a production environment Demonstrated experience conducting employee discussions, managing performance, and supporting conflict resolution Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and shopfloor operations Experience working with Microsoft Office and SAP Professional communication skills in German and English Skills: Working in a highly regulated and technically complex manufacturing environment requires strong leadership, collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset.
