**Amazon's EMEA Stores seeks a Transfer Pricing Manager** to lead in London, part of Amazon's tax team. This role focuses on managing related party transactions within the core online stores business. Key responsibilities involve analyzing new launches and restructuring for transfer pricing needs, developing policies, and ensuring compliance. Proficiency in transfer pricing policies, intercompany agreements, and valuations is essential. The ideal candidate holds a professional tax, accounting, or legal qualification and has experience in multinational organizations, with advanced Microsoft Office skills. This role requires proven transfer pricing advisory experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles. You'll support audits, APAs, and drive process improvements.
Key job responsibilities
- Analyse new business launches and restructuring and determining transfer pricing requirements.
- Support development and implementation of transfer pricing policies
- Monitor transfer pricing policies against outcomes
- Preparation and review of intercompany agreements
- Preparation of valuations
- Support with audits and APAs
- Review of TP documentation and TP forms
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives in the TP operations and compliance processes
Basic Qualifications
- professional tax, accounting or legal qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant (CA), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) or similar)- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
- Experience a transfer pricing advisory role in a multinational and/or professional organization
- Knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and entries
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in tax with an EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) focus- Experience in supporting audit defense
