Maintenance Electrical Technician

We are looking for a talented and motivated Maintenance Electrical Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background in industrial electrical systems and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Requirements

  • Maximum 30 years old
  • Maximum 5 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance
  • Minimum Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Good understanding of Electrical Safety Standards, Procedures, and Best Practices
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic industrial environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on electrical equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore equipment to operational condition safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and condition monitoring of electrical assets.
  • Ensure compliance with all electrical safety procedures and company standards.
  • Support shutdown, turnaround, commissioning, and project-related activities.

Maintain maintenance records and prepare technical reports and documentation

Technical Knowledge and Skills

Candidates should possess knowledge and practical experience in one or more of the following electrical systems:

  • Gas Turbine Generator (GTG)
  • Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG)
  • Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear
  • Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear
  • AC & DC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems
  • Power Transformers
  • Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) Motors
  • Electrical Control Monitoring System (ECMS) / Electrical SCADA
  • Protective Relays and Electrical Protection Systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in oil & gas, power generation, or other heavy industries.
  • Familiarity with electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and protection schemes.
  • Knowledge of CMMS/SAP maintenance systems.
  • Experience with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
