**Associate Ad Review Specialist Contractor (6-Month Contract)** - Spotify's Singapore-based Public Affairs team needs a Trust & Safety Contractor with ad review experience to support daily operations, enforce policies, and manage escalations. Key responsibilities involve reviewing ad submissions and podcasts, handling time-sensitive inquiries, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to enhance enforcement workflows. Requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying policy violations and operational gaps. Six-month contract via a third-party hiring platform.

Department: Public Affairs

Team: Trust & Safety

Location: Singapore

Type: Short Term

Spotify Trust & Safety is dedicated to creating a platform that’s safe for users and creators and true to our values.

We’re looking for an Associate Ad Review Specialist Contractor to join our Monetization Operations team within Trust & Safety. You’ll support day-to-day ad review operations and policy enforcement, respond to inquiries and escalations from sales and cross-functional partners, and help maintain strong feedback loops across operations, policy, sales, and vendor teams. Your work will help ensure Spotify remains a safe and positive experience for everyone.

Please note that this is a fixed-term, 6-month contractor role hired through a third party.

What You'll Do

  • Review ad submissions and podcasts on Spotify to ensure they comply with Spotify’s policies.
  • Manage review queues in line with SLAs and prioritization guidance.
  • Triage and handle time-sensitive escalations from internal and external partners, including sales, advertisers, and vendor teams.
  • Identify and escalate emerging trends, operational gaps, and high-risk content to the appropriate partners and leadership.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve enforcement workflows, escalation processes, and tooling.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives through hands-on QA, error reporting, feedback, and root cause analysis.
  • Who You Are

  • You have a BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have a minimum of 1+ years of operational experience in ad review, content moderation, brand safety, or a related area.
  • You work effectively both independently and collaboratively and are comfortable taking ownership of your work.
  • You communicate clearly and thoughtfully with different stakeholders; experience working with sales teams or vendors is helpful.
  • You can navigate complex issues, manage your time, and prioritize competing assignments effectively.
  • You care about protecting Spotify’s brand, users, creators, and wider community.
  • You have flexibility to work assigned shifts, which may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. Some weekend or holiday on-call coverage may be required.
  • You are comfortable reviewing content that may be sensitive or disturbing as part of your work.
  • Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in Singapore
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 3 times per week.
  • Spotify is an equal opportunity employer. You are welcome at Spotify for who you are, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or what’s playing in your headphones. Our platform is for everyone, and so is our workplace. The more voices we have represented and amplified in our business, the more we will all thrive, contribute, and be forward-thinking! So bring us your personal experience, your perspectives, and your background. It’s in our differences that we will find the power to keep revolutionizing the way the world listens.

At Spotify, we are passionate about inclusivity and making sure our entire recruitment process is accessible to everyone. We have ways to request reasonable accommodations during the interview process and help assist in what you need. If you need accommodations at any stage of the application or interview process, please let us know - we’re here to support you in any way we can.
