KPMG is currently seeking an Associate in Human Capital Advisory for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities :

  • Support client-facing public sector technology and consulting workstreams by executing key project tasks, including process documentation, completing research, tracking delivery statuses, and organizing data.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent client service, serving as a dedicated, reliable, and collaborative team member who seamlessly supports broader team objectives, including stakeholder management, meeting and workshop facilitation, deliverable creation, as well as project and financial management
  • Apply polished communication skills to assist with client presentations, user readiness assessments, and representing the firm effectively on the ground.
  • Collaborate on the creation and advancement of thought leadership, internal and external tools and resources, and training
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including articles, whitepapers and methodology guides
  • Engage in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal responses and client outreach

Qualifications :

  • Minimum one year of relevant experience in consulting, business analysis, research, or project coordination
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required
  • Must reside in the Sacramento region (or be willing to relocate) as a quick learner capable of providing immediate, on-site, billable project support.
  • A growing understanding of State of California public sector operations and government dynamics.
  • Highly resilient, organized, and detail-oriented with a proven capability to adapt to changing client needs
  • Prior work managing a portfolio of activities within a project or team, including setting priorities, balancing competing deadlines, and leading conversations and creating stakeholder engagement with clients and colleagues across an organizational hierarchy
  • Travel as necessary
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
