Group Accounting is responsible for Deutsche Börse Group’s financial reporting under IFRS and HGB and serves as the central competence center for accounting-related matters across the Group. The section defines accounting policies and standards, supports business initiatives with accounting expertise, and ensures high-quality and compliant external financial reporting. In addition, Group Accounting plays a key role in M&A transactions, capital management activities, and major finance transformation initiatives, including SAP migration, integration, and implementation projects across the Group.

As a Business Process Specialist Finance Transformation, you will combine your accounting expertise with process improvement and transformation initiatives. You will work closely with Group Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and IT to ensure that accounting requirements are appropriately reflected in future finance processes and systems.

Within Group Reporting & Analytics, you will help shape the future reporting landscape of Deutsche Börse Group. Acting as a bridge between Finance and IT, you will contribute your expertise in consolidation, financial reporting, data quality, and reporting processes to support strategic transformation initiatives and ensure consistent, reliable reporting across the Group.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Group Reporting, consolidation, and financial reporting processes
  • Define and validate business requirements for reporting and analytics solutions from a Finance perspective
  • Support finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations, migrations, and process harmonization activities related to Group Reporting
  • Ensure that reporting requirements are consistently reflected in reporting processes, master data structures, and system configurations
  • Contribute to the design and improvement of reporting processes to support external financial reporting
  • Support testing activities and business acceptance processes to ensure reporting requirements are accurately implemented
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, IT, and external implementation partners
  • Monitor and enhance data quality, reporting consistency, and transparency across the reporting landscape
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization within Group Reporting and Analytics

 

Your profile:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in Group Accounting, Consolidation, External Reporting, Financial Reporting, or a related finance function
  • Strong understanding of accounting and reporting processes, particularly consolidation, month-end and year-end closing, and Group reporting
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and experience in preparing or supporting financial statements and disclosures
  • Experience working with reporting and consolidation solutions such as SAP Group Reporting, Group Reporting Data Collection (GRDC), BW, SAC, or comparable platforms is advantageous
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP/reporting systems as a key user, process owner, business expert, or project team member
  • Exposure to finance transformation, reporting process improvements, system implementations, or migration projects is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of financial data, reporting structures, master data, and reporting controls
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate reporting requirements into practical business solutions
  • Ability to work effectively across different finance functions and in international project environments
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
