The Business Project Manager Specialist provides operational, project management, and stakeholder coordination support for the Arizona campus. Partnering closely with the Site Lead and cross-functional stakeholders, this role helps execute workplace initiatives, coordinate service delivery, support project implementation, and contribute to an exceptional crew experience. The position serves as a key connector across vendors, business partners, and GWx teams to ensure efficient operations and successful execution of site priorities. Provides project management services on a multi-year or major project, applying functional expertise to improve project results.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of Vanguard's Global Workplace Experience (GWx) strategy at the Arizona campus. As a Business Project Manager Specialist, you will partner with the local GWx Site Leadership Team and workplace partners to coordinate operational activities, support crew experience initiatives, and help ensure a safe, welcoming, and high-performing workplace environment.

This role is ideal for a collaborative and detail-oriented professional who excels at relationship building, project coordination, and operational execution while supporting the successful delivery of site priorities and workplace experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Manages a project or workstreams within a broader project or program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.

• Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Ensures strategies are aligned with the overall department strategy.

• Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.

• Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.

• Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related project issues. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years’ related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Real Estate, Facilities or Financial Services preferred.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Exemplary communication and client service skills.

• Ability to proactively problem solve and execute independently.
