**College Intern - Product Engineering (System Interaction)** - **Responsibilities**: Integrate printhead/ink supplies, troubleshoot quality issues (both factory and field), develop tests for product changes, support new product development, drive quality/process improvement projects. - **Requirements**: Bachelor/Masters degree in Material/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Chemical/Electrical Engineering. Full-time commitment for 5-6 months starting January 2027. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in problem-solving, data analysis, and project management. Experience with engineering tools and 3D software a plus.

Description -

What a College Intern - Product Engineering (System Interaction) does at HP:

  • Ensure the seamless integration of printhead/ink supplies with the printer to deliver good print quality & supplies reliability consistently for our commercial customers.
  • Lead, troubleshoot & resolve quality issues from factory and the field.
  • Develop & run testing to evaluate product changes to ensure no impact to customer experience.
  • Supports the New Product development through incorporation of best manufacturing practices & influence design for manufacturability.
  • Lead & drive projects to improve quality & processes, resulting in enhanced efficiency & customer experience.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Bachelor or Masters undergraduate in the following disciplines: Materials / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Chemical / Electrical Engineering.
  • Able to commit for a 5-6 months full-time internship, starting in January 2027.
  • Strong communication& interpersonal skill.
  • Strong analytical skill, critical thinking.
  • Strong problem solving skill.
  • Growth mindset.
  • Open mind & curious.
