What Roll You Will Play in Our Team

 

As a member of the retail fuels Data Monetization & Innovation Team, the Program Advisor will be responsible for oversight and serving as the primary contact for assigned external Data, AdTech, and MarTech vendor relationships.  Role will build and manage relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, procurement, law, and other vendors to maximize business benefits by aligning vendor plans and activities to the overall Data Monetization & Innovation strategy.

 

The Program Advisor will ensure contractual obligations and relationship objectives are met and proactively drive value, efficiency, and operational integrity. This role involves independently applying vendor segmentation, monitoring and improving vendor performance, facilitating collaboration with stakeholders, and aligning vendor capabilities with business strategy and compliance requirements.  Role will collaborate with procurement on contracting process.

 

Additionally, the role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, best practice application, and supports informed decision making to optimize vendor engagement and outcomes.

What You Will Do

 

  • Vendor Management Strategy: Manage the lifecycle of a vendor relationship in the Data and AdTech ecosystem, from new engagement to ongoing relationship management. 
  • Program Execution: Define objectives and plans for assigned vendor relationships aligned to the overarching strategy for the Data Monetization & Innovation team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Assist project managers / business focal points with inquiries regarding vendor engagement, terms and exhibits for new delivery opportunities. Act as an escalation point for delivery or invoicing issues
  • Market Knowledge: Keep tabs on and leverage market knowledge insights, sharing appropriately with internal stakeholders
  • Process Maintenance & Compliance: Understand controls requirements and act as an interface between vendors and auditing entities (e.g. system and organization controls audit)
  • Monitor Data & Performance: Establish and maintain reporting of vendor performance across the four Key Supplier Engagement Management pillars. Develop and enhance scorecards to provide insights

About You

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of relationship, account, or vendor management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience with retail media, advertising, data services, and CPG industries.
  • Knowledge of retail, advertising, financial and payments technology.  This is not a technical role but will interface with many technology-oriented counterparties.
