**First Line Support Sequence Engineer & SMIX Lead** drives EUV Factory success by managing complex Service Actions. This senior role combines deep sequence expertise and stakeholder management. Key responsibilities include serving as the technical authority for Service Sequences, ensuring safe and efficient execution, and bridging manufacturing, FLS competencies, system delivery, and other teams. The ideal candidate offers a proven track record in sequence engineering, operational leadership, and stakeholder management, with no direct hierarchical authority. This role significantly impacts EUV Factory's service mix quality and structural improvement initiatives.

Introduction to the job: First Line Support NXE (FLS) is the troubleshooting organization within the EUV Factory, responsible for supporting the Make, Qualification, Recovery, and Install phases of EUV systems. Within FLS, the Sequence Engineering team acts as the central coordinator for Special & Ordinary Service Actions, Service Sequences, and cross-competency execution plans. The FLS NXE Sequence Engineering team is the technical authority for Service Sequences within EUV Factory. The team ensures Service Actions can be executed safely, efficiently and first-time-right by connecting manufacturing execution, service strategy and sequence development. As a Sequence Engineer & SMIX Lead, you combine deep sequence expertise with strong stakeholder management capabilities. You are the go-to expert for complex Service Actions and use your operational experience to influence Service Mix quality, sequence readiness and structural improvement initiatives across EF Factory. You serve as the bridge between Manufacturing, FLS Competencies, System Delivery, PE, Shopfloor teams, Program Management, and D&E Sequence organizations. You drive sequence readiness, support complex escalations, improve execution quality, and ensure learnings are translated into structural improvements across the EUV Factory. This role combines technical expertise, operational leadership, and stakeholder management without direct hierarchical authority. This aligns with the team's vision to become the engineering SPOC for Service Actions and to drive SMIX maturity across NXE products. Primary Mission Act as the FLS expert for Service Sequences, ensuring Service Actions can be executed safely, efficiently, and first-time-right through strong sequence engineering support, stakeholder alignment, and operational ownership. Secondary Mission Use operational learnings from Service Action execution to improve Service Mix quality, sequence readiness and industrialization across the EUV Factory. Roles and responsibilities: 1. Sequence Engineering (Primary Responsibility) Serve as the FLS subject matter expert for Service Sequences. Provide advanced support on GRE, GEAR, POD and sequence-related tooling. Assist FLS competencies with complex sequence challenges and multi-competency actions. Create, review, optimize and combine service sequences to improve execution quality and cycle time. Support shopfloor teams during execution of complex Service Actions. Coordinate creation of missing sequences together with D&E, PE and service stakeholders. Act as the voice of Manufacturing during sequence reviews and sequence industrialization activities. Ensure Service Actions are technically executable, practical and aligned with operational realities. 2. Service Mix (SMIX) Leadership Chair and own the organization and successful execution of the biggest issues FLS is in the lead for from a workprep point of view with your stakeholders in the Cleanroom. Partner with EMO, PE, System Delivery, Module Owner, Execution teams and D&E stakeholders to improve Service Mix quality and readiness. Drive sequence alignment discussions for complex Service Actions. Consolidate lessons learned from action execution for the most important actions in the factory. Identify recurring sequence issues and drive structural improvements. Support AIR intake, sequence readiness and serviceability improvements for new product introductions. Represent factory execution experience during SMIX reviews and maturity discussions. 3. Escalation & Operational Support Support high-priority escalations involving Service Actions and sequence execution. Facilitate daily execution reviews and progress alignment for complex actions. Coordinate stakeholders when multiple competencies are required to execute an action plan. Act as the bridge between execution teams, FLS competencies and sequence stakeholders. 4. SMIX Industrialization & NPI Readiness Partner with PE, D&E and Program teams to support the introduction of new service content. Assess sequence readiness for new hardware, upgrades and recovery scenarios. Participate in PIT discussions and AIR intake prioritization. Identify gaps in serviceability and drive creation of missing service sequences. Ensure manufacturing and install feedback is incorporated early in development. Represent factory interests during industrialization and readiness reviews. 5. Performance Management & Continuous Improvement Monitor SMIX performance indicators including Quality, Cycle Time and Repeat Disturbances. Consolidate operational learnings from critical Service Actions. Drive structural improvements with D&E, PE and Manufacturing stakeholders. Support data-driven decision making through trend analysis and reporting. Participate in CI initiatives focused on Service Action quality and execution efficiency.
