**Principal Product Manager, Technical, Database Services: Lead Next-Gen Database Innovation** Revolutionize AWS database experiences for millions of builders. Redefine database lifecycle management with intuitive, scalable solutions. Operate at extraordinary scale, managing millions of compute instances. UX/UI creativity meets database foundations and agentic development. Ideal candidate blends technical depth with customer-centric mindset, driving intuitive and secure database experiences. Naturally manage and inform customers, empowering confident self-management of critical infrastructure. Bring 8+ years of product management, including 5+ in technical roles, and demonstrate proven success in leading teams. Proficient in AWS databases and relevant technologies.

Are you ready to reimagine how hundreds of thousands of builders interact with AWS databases every week? Can you imagine a future where millions of compute instances are upgraded to the latest database version in seconds, with zero downtime? Are you excited by the idea of agentic database experiences, enabling AI services to interact with the most important organizational data?

The Database Services team is looking for an exceptional product leader. This role is a rare intersection of UI/UX creativity, database foundations, agentic development, and scale across a fleet of millions of compute instances.

We need someone who can reimagine the entire database lifecycle for the next generation of AWS builders. The challenge is to take complex database operations and make them intuitive and scalable. You'll define platform capabilities that operate at extraordinary scale, systems that manage millions of database instances. You'll design how we keep customers, both IT developers and AI-based agents, informed, ensuring they always know what's happening with their critical infrastructure. Most importantly, you'll give customers more control over their database experience—transforming what has traditionally been a source of anxiety into something they can confidently manage on their own terms.

We're looking for an exceptional product manager, a builder who's obsessed with delivering for the next generation of AWS customers.
