Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

The Process and Documentation Manager sits within the Third Party Contracting (TPC) Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, which is part of Global Procurement. The TPC CoE is accountable for driving contracting excellence across the Bank through robust governance, continuous system, process and framework improvements, and comprehensive training programs.

Become the curator of our contracting knowledge! As Process and Documentation Manager, you will lead a team of Contract Template Managers and a Process and Documentation Specialist, while maintaining crucial TPC documentation, including process maps, design documents and user stories. You will liaise with stakeholders to keep our intranet content up-to-date and ensure our policies, procedures, and Key Operating Documents (KODs) reflect the latest regulatory and legal updates. You will also play a key role in fostering collaboration and ensuring the TPC CoE delivers high-quality outputs that align with DB’s strategic agenda for contracting and contract management. This role is vital for ensuring clarity, consistency and compliance across our contracting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance key documentation, including business process maps, design documentation, and user stories.
  • Monitor updates into Third Party Contracting (TPC) documentation as required. This will include overseeing changes to maintaining and developing our TPC policies, procedures, and KODs.
  • Manage and provide leadership to two Contract Template Managers and a Process and Documentation Specialist, ensuring effective collaboration, performance and development.
  • Help advise users on policy adherence and best practices.
  • Contribute to and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Support liaison with contracting stakeholders and teams to maintain our contracting knowledge base and standards.

Skills

  • Excellent documentation and writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of contracting processes and best practices.
  • Experience with process mapping and documentation tools.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a small team, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their goals.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and legal requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
