Team Description:

Within GP, the Procurement Transformation & Remediation (T&R) team underpins and enables the ambitions of GP through partnering and strong alignment across the function to deliver transformation, defining learning & development and unlocking value creation.

The Process Orchestrator project is a transformation programme delivered by T&R to redesign the end-to-end procurement journey and deliver the target-state process and technology needed to address current process pain points. It brings together process and control redesign, intelligent intake management, workflow orchestration, data foundations, reporting, chatbot-enabled support and operations automation, with the aim of creating a single front door for procurement demand, clearer routing and triage, improved end-to-end visibility, stronger auditability, and a more joined-up user experience across downstream procurement processes.

The Business Functional Analysis is responsible for business solution design in complex project environments, including transformational programmes. The role identifies and translates business requirements into functional specifications, analyses change impacts, supports target-state process design, contributes to delivery roadmaps, and works with project, technology and business stakeholders to support the identification, implementation and maintenance of effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business analysis for Process Orchestrator, translating target-state processes and business rules into structured requirements.
  • Develop clear user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog inputs aligned to product, process and control objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops with Product, Process, subject matter experts, vendor and technology teams to support design decisions.
  • Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability, dependencies and change records across design, build, testing and release.
  • Support user acceptance testing, defect triage and release readiness by validating delivered functionality against agreed requirements.

Skills:

  • Strong senior business analysis capability in process transformation, workflow implementation or platform delivery.
  • Ability to translate target operating model, process and control design into implementation-ready requirements.
  • Skilled in workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and structured decision-making across business and technology teams.
  • Disciplined approach to requirements traceability, dependency management and acceptance criteria definition.
