Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Section Manager. Generally, the second-highest level engineering position in the factory, this role reports to the Engineering Branch Manager, and oversees and provides leadership to lower-level engineering managers and supervisors within a particular engineering ';section';. In this role, you will oversee the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. You may also ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Acting as liaison with engineering in releasing new products is a central to this role. Key responsibilities include developing systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. As an Engineering Section Manager, you may also develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 10 years of experience in Product Engineering at the Device/Wafer Level.
  • 1 year of leadership/management experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical background in process/ test and device physics.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with AI systems for data analysis 
  • Very strong problem solving skills
  • Strong experience driving projects to successful conclusion 
  • Open minded to change, dramatic change
  • Adaptable to change in direction and priorities 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to stay calm at all times under stressful situations
