Sales Application Lead

Description -

We are looking for a Sales Application Lead to own and operate HP Industrial Print's commercial applications, with an initial focus on our CPQ platform.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of a business-critical application ecosystem supporting global sales operations, quotation management, pricing, product configuration, approvals, and other commercial processes.

In addition to ensuring stable day-to-day operations, this role will continuously improve the platform, optimize operational processes, and help shape the future commercial application landscape as part of HP's Lead-to-Cash transformation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technology, business partnership, operational ownership, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced global environment.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the CPQ application, including production operations, platform stability, releases, support, and continuous improvement

  • Act as the primary IT owner, partnering closely with business stakeholders to ensure the application meets business needs

  • Identify opportunities to improve platform capabilities, operational processes, and user experience in partnership with business stakeholders.

  • Manage the external development partner and align delivery priorities with business stakeholders

  • Lead incident management, production support, and problem resolution to ensure platform stability

  • Plan and coordinate quarterly releases, hotfixes, deployments, and production readiness

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Architects, QA, and engineering teams

  • Support integrations with Microsoft Dynamics, ERP systems, CRM, and other enterprise platforms

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security, SOX, and ITGC requirements

  • Support HP's Lead-to-Cash transformation initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Experience owning or managing enterprise business-critical applications throughout their operational lifecycle

  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Understanding of end-to-end Sales business processes and the enterprise applications that support them

  • Experience working with cross-functional business and IT teams, including external development partners

  • Experience leading development teams and coordinating technical delivery

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in complex operational environments

  • Ability to drive collaboration across business and IT teams, build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders

  • Experience working in Agile environments

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
