We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Senior Product Manager (Senior Vice President), Global Trade Solutions.

Principal Accountabilities

• Manage the product financials including revenues, costs, RWA and other key indicators
• Identify and implement initiatives to support growth for the product and proposition
• Oversee commercialization plans for new or enhanced products, setting and monitoring quantifiable targets and periodically reviewing them with the stakeholders
• Ensure that all product governance policies and processes are followed in the country including product reviews and governance reviews.
• Provide the required product expertise to all stakeholders and support complex client requirements.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders including local, regional and global product teams and other partners to ensure that the client is provided with the best possible solution
• Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making.
• Support with training resources on new and enhanced product for both internal and external stakeholders
• Be involved with people development
• Support with product related information to cater to Audits and reviews done by internal and external stakeholders including regulators

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably in business background from a public/private university
• Strong knowledge of Trade and its underlying risks, an ability to commercialise the product propositions and generate incremental revenues in collaboration with Services, Business Development and Relationship Management stakeholders
• Must have relevant experience, strong communication skills, and can work under time pressures
• Negotiation skills and successful teamwork across various disciplines.
• As an individual contributor there is a requirement to be self driven
• Ability to handle foreign stakeholders is an added advantage
• Ability to handle regulators is an added advantage

As per BRPD circular no. 02 dated 16 Jan 2025, any applicant from a bank or financial institution must pass the Banking Professional Exam (JAIBB & AIBB) to be appointed in a higher position at HSBC.
