**Senior Product Manager, Quant Trading** This senior role helms backend trading systems at Binance, the top global blockchain ecosystem. You'll drive product direction, enhance core systems like matching/risk engines, and develop derivatives products (Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts). Collaborate with trading engineering teams to transform trading needs into technical solutions. Manage the product lifecycle from planning to release, optimize backend performance, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Prior product experience is preferred but not required. Bring 8+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in derivatives or quantitative trading. Proficiency in SQL, proficiency in Python, and familiarity with trading systems are essential. Responsibilities
- Set the product direction and roadmap for backend trading systems.
- Improve core systems like matching engine, risk engines, pricing models for derivatives products including but not limited to Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts etc.
- Work with the trading engineering teams to turn complex trading needs into technical solutions.
- Lead the full product lifecycle from planning to release and ongoing/new feature launch.
- Monitor backend performance and fix issues before they impact users.
- Ensure systems comply with standards, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Product experience is not a must but preferred.
- Deep understanding of Financial products like Margin, Futures, Perpetual swaps, options etc.
- Technical or quantitative background (e.g., CS, Financial Engineering, Math).
- Ability to understand trading logics, risk methods, and translate them into product requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to coordinate with global stakeholders and overseas partners.
