This role offers an opportunity to work within a developing and increasingly critical area of the Supply Chain organization.

 

What you will do

 

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials by actively monitoring purchase orders and coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Provide best-in-class support to assigned vendors, maintaining strong relationships and serving as the main point of contact for delivery-related matters
  • Detect operational issues and collaborate with Vendor Performance Leads and internal teams to drive improvements in end-to-end vendor performance
  • Work closely with all key stakeholders to resolve purchase order or purchase requisition and vendor concerns
  • Educate vendors and key internal stakeholders on ExxonMobil systems and processes, while identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and support broader materials operations as needed

 

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • 1+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Bachelor's degree in: Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade or similar degrees. 
  • Outstanding communication skills, proactive initiative to engage vendors (via phone vs. email) and build relationships
  • Problem solving and prioritization of tasks
  • Collaboration skills and ability to manage cross-functional interfaces, both locally and remotely, and promote corporation-first outcomes
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing operational needs; thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains positive behaviors
