**Join our 2027 Public Markets Quants Internship Programme** in London, where you'll gain hands-on experience in quantitative analysis and market data analysis. As an intern, you will undertake two rotations across quantitatively driven investment desks. This will give you exposure to a broad spectrum of strategies.Who we’re looking for:We are looking for proactive and adaptable individuals who display robust numerical and analytical skills and a strong work ethic. You should be curious about financial markets, comfortable working with data and digital tools, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Clear communication, a collaborative spirit, and a logical approach to solving problems are essential. - A clear interest in financial markets and investing.

- The ability to present ideas and insights confidently to a range of audiences.

- Knowledge of statistical techniques to gain scalable insights from data
- Knowledge of equity or fixed income factors and modelling techniques is preferred

- Schroders Systematic Investments: Focused on systematic, data-driven, and algorithmic trading strategiesQuantitative Fixed Income: Using quantitative techniques to facilitate dynamic, flexible investment across global fixed income markets.During your 10-week placement, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate across two of these diverse teams, gaining a broader understanding of different investment areas. You’ll be encouraged to contribute actively, ask questions, and take on tasks that will help you build your knowledge across the business.Knowledge, experience and qualifications we’re looking for:
- When the internship commences, you will have completed your second year of studies and will be on track to graduate with a degree (or equivalent) in 2028.
- We welcome applications from all degree subjects, although a Mathematics focused degree discipline would be beneficial.
- Please note that we do not accept applications from students in their final year who intend to undertake further study (e.g. a Master's degree) before entering employment.
- A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
