We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP, MGOC TNO ANALYTICS, GRA.

Principal responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and internal policies related to model risk management, particularly in the context of Traded Risk models.
  • Collaborate with model developers and owners to ensure compliance with model governance policies throughout the model lifecycle.
  • Develop and document internal procedures and templates to support model developers in adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Maintain and update the model inventory, ensuring accuracy and completeness of model records, including all models and adjustments.
  • Track the status of models, including their validation, approval, and performance monitoring metrics.
  • Prepare formal documentation, including procedures, meeting packs, and regular model governance reports for senior management and governance committees.
  • Assist in coordinating and conducting periodic model reviews and validations in collaboration with validators.
  • Identify opportunities to automate governance processes, reducing manual effort and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Develop tools and applications to enable more efficient and streamline model risk governance
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in model risk management.
  • Provide guidance to model owners and stakeholders on governance policies and best practices.
  • Analyze different problem statements for actionable insights to support model-related activities.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with libraries such as pandas, numpy, plotly, and dash
  • Hands-on experience building web applications using Dash (Plotly)
  • Good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Solid software development practices (modular code, testing, documentation)
  • Ability to analyze and visualize data effectively

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.

Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
