Key responsibilities include: - Providing execution services across varied asset classes - Leveraging diverse execution channels to source liquidity - Managing counterparty relationships (banks/brokers) - Ensuring best execution practices with minimal slippage - Monitoring market trends and trade ideas from sell-side, flagging them to PMs A strong foundation in financial markets and products, coupled with 2+ years in execution trading/trade support, is essential. Undergraduate degree in a numerate discipline required.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Essential Responsibilities:
The CEX desk is a team that locates in a few geographic locations and trades multi assets (Fixed Income, Equity, FX, Credit, Commods + Digital) across DM and EM Markets. The role is located in the Hong Kong office, and work closely with other team members across different offices.
- Provide execution services across different asset classes to portfolio managers globally
- Source liquidity through various execution channels and manage relationships with counterparties (banks/brokers)
- Ensure best execution practices with low transaction slippage
- Monitor market moves/flow/themes, and highlight those to PMs if needed
- Monitor trade ideas from sell-side, and highlight those to PMs if needed
PERSON SPECIFICATION
WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

Desirable
- Undergraduate degree in a numerate discipline
- A strong understanding of financial markets and different financial products
- Execution, mechanics and analytics
- Front to back processes
- Market infrastructure
- Minimum 2 years of execution trading/trade assistant/trade support experience.
- Advanced excel and knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python or other programming languages.
- Good problem-solving capabilities, evidence of process improvements
- Cross asset class experience: FI, FX, Credit, Rates, Equities, ETDs
