Description -
What a R&D Design Validation Engineer does at HP:
Analyse product design and validate the product for new product development and current product design enhancements, ensuring strong design integrity, reliability, and user‑centric performance.
Design and execute test strategies for product design, including sub-assembly/module level and integrated system product level.
Digital transformation processes by automating workflows, test execution, data collection, and analytics.
Integrate development data telemetry to enhance design insights, R&D decision‑making and efficiency.
Apply statistics (Weibull, Binomial etc), analysis tools, and DOE methodologies to characterize performance and resolve technical challenges.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, outsourced partners, and suppliers to align on design validation progress, risks, and technical decisions.
Integral part of engineering project teams to develop innovative, cost‑effective, test and high‑quality product solutions.
Innovate, learn, and strengthen team technical competencies.
Develop and integrate Agentic AI to complement design and validation processes.
Education & Experience Recommended:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of Engineering.
Engineering statistics.
Fresh graduates are welcomed.
(Advantage) 1-3 years of work experience in engineering design or industrial standards testing of consumer products.
(Advantage) Develops Agentic AI for workflow and processes.
(Advantage) Scripting/coding through common languages like Visual C++, Python or/and data science tools.
